The Infrastructure Engineer plays a critical role in managing and optimizing the infrastructure within the Global Markets division. This position involves influencing and executing control processes, risk management, and frameworks for reporting and communication. The Infrastructure Engineer ensures that business expectations are clearly articulated and understood by the product and service delivery teams.

Required Skills & Experience

Strong knowledge of infrastructure technology e.g. Unix/Windows Administration, Active Directory, Middleware Administration, Storage, Networks, Compute Engines
3-5 years experience in Python Scripting, Capacity Analysis, Elk, Grafana, Kibana, Splunk, SQL, Load balancers, Excel
Strong communication and presentation skills
Management experience, ability to lead and manage more junior level people and to provide guidance and direction when they run into issues
Strong general consulting/project skills (ability to help clients define requirements, write statement of work, marshal resources, project management, scope control, risk management)
Client relationship management skills -Knowledge of/relationships with the CTO and Core Ops technology staff very valuable
Financial skills - basic understanding of depreciation vs. expenses, plan vs. actual
Problem solving skills e.g. lead root cause analysis, troubled project turnaround; escalate of failed deliveries
Knowledge of development and infrastructure process lifecycles
