Infrastructure Engineer II

Requirements Proficient in business and technical communications both written and oral to facilitate and communicate the Transformation Program, strategy, vision, and roadmaps, to consumers, service owners, and application owners Understands and able to articulate high level benefits and general financial impact of Technology Transformation Own release and deployment activities providing guidance and oversight, demonstrating drive and capability to deliver assured, reliable migrations with zero data loss and minimal service impact As a technical expert, demonstrate an in-depth view of the infrastructure, providing direction and feedback in the evaluation and amendment of documented deployment configurations and operational guides Developing the ability to lead implementations and manage the service to support the Project Manager, the Technology Service owner and to deliver a quality assured deployment to the key stakeholders Provide knowledge transfer and technical training to Operations team members to elevate and improve their technical knowledge and application of skills towards successful deployment across a range of services and technology Adapts well to change, a self-motivated, collaborative broad thinker Anticipate, devise and conduct tests for proposed solutions to meet the requirements of Operational Acceptance for Technology Transformation deployments, and to challenge technical aspects of prescribed solutions Skill Set Requirements Essential: EMC VMAX, NetApp and Hyper-converged platforms NAS / SAN and Object Migration experience with storage assets SRDF, Snap Mirror/Snap Vault/Snap Shot Cisco and Brocade fabric Create operational guides and associated documentation plus detailed runbooks for migration procedures Provide third line support to the OPS team for any service impacting incidents on critical business systems Desirable: Performs system testing to ensure new storage configuration, changes and condition are completed/finalized without issue Scripting or ability to tailor automated tasks Other requirements; solid writing, excellent verbal and communication skills, managing time effectively and according to priorities Implement best practices as per the storage vendor specifications for different enterprise workload migration processes Work closely with end users to understand and resolve ongoing issues, and be pro-active in engaging storage vendors support team as needed as a result of deployment activity related incidents and challenges Will this have the ability to be temp to perm?
