Our client is seeking an Infrastructure Backend Engineer to join their team. As an Infrastructure Backend Engineer, you will be part of the engineering department supporting cross-functional teams. The ideal candidate will have strong problem-solving skills, excellent collaboration abilities, and a passion for developing scalable applications, which will align successfully in the organization.
Job Title: Infrastructure Backend Engineer
Location: Sunnyvale, CA
What's the Job? - Develop and maintain scalable backend services while improving cloud infrastructure.
- Implement microservices and expose REST and GraphQL APIs to UI teams.
- Optimize AWS and Kubernetes infrastructure for high availability and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design user-friendly applications for ML teams.
- Ensure best practices in CI/CD pipelines and DevOps methodologies.
What's Needed? - 3+ years of experience in backend development.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, or Go.
- Experience with Database (SQL or NoSQL) and message queue technologies like Kafka.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes (EKS preferred) and container technology (Docker).
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
