Overview: Currently seeking a skilled Infrastructure and Cloud Engineer to join our technology team. This role will focus on managing cloud infrastructure and driving the adoption of cloud technologies while ensuring the security, performance, and reliability of our systems. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience with cloud platforms, particularly Microsoft 365 and Azure, and will play a pivotal role in optimizing infrastructure and supporting cross-platform migrations.
Description: - Design, implement, and manage hybrid cloud solutions that incorporate cloud services, virtual machines, and collaboration tools for improved scalability and operational efficiency.
- Continuously evaluate emerging cloud technologies and trends to guide infrastructure roadmap planning.
- Develop and implement cloud infrastructure strategies that align with the organization's objectives.
- Implement data protection measures such as backup and disaster recovery solutions.
- Perform system capacity planning and fine-tune configurations for enhanced efficiency and performance.
- Oversee the management of core infrastructure components, ensuring peak performance and optimal resource utilization.
- Enforce security policies and controls across cloud and on-premises environments, adhering to relevant regulatory requirements.
- Monitor security threats and take proactive measures to mitigate risks.
- Conduct regular security audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend remediation strategies.
- Administer user accounts and permissions, ensuring that access is correctly configured for operational needs.
- Provide technical support for collaboration platforms, including Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and OneDrive, ensuring data integrity and user security.
- Work with stakeholders to identify and implement technology solutions that improve productivity and streamline workflows.
- Develop automation scripts and workflows to improve infrastructure management processes, including tasks like license administration and security compliance.
- Leverage automation tools to streamline cloud service management, reducing manual work and improving efficiency.
Requirements: - Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Experience using automation tools, such as PowerShell and Microsoft Power Automate.
- 3-5 years of experience managing IT infrastructure, with specific experience in cloud environments such as Microsoft 365 and Azure.
- Proven expertise in cross-platform migrations (e.g., Google Workspace to Microsoft 365 and Azure).
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft 365 and Azure administration, including device management with Microsoft Intune.
- Deep knowledge of Azure services (Virtual Machines, Networking, Storage) and disaster recovery solutions.
- Strong technical skills in operating systems, networking, and cloud configurations (including Azure VMs and Virtual Networks).
Preferred Skills: - Relevant industry certifications (Microsoft 365, Azure, or Security Compliance).
- Familiarity with Google Workspace administration and cross-platform management.
- Experience with additional cloud platforms such as AWS.
- Industry experience in a non-profit.

Determining compensation for this role (and others) at Vaco by Highspring depends upon a wide array of factors including but not limited to:
- the individual's skill sets, experience and training;
- licensure and certification requirements;
- office location and other geographic considerations;
- other business and organizational needs.
With that said, as required by local law, Vaco by Highspring believes that the referenced salary range ($95k-$110k) reasonably estimates the base compensation for an individual hired into this position in geographies that require salary range disclosure. The individual may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses.
