Information Technology Technician/Server Tech Level 1 (Fort Bragg)

Location: Fort Bragg, NC (Onsite)
Clearance: TS/SCI (Polygraph Preferred)
Salary: $110,000
Experience Level: Mid-Level (Must have relevant experience)
Travel: Up to once a month (SOC locations: Germany, Hawaii, etc.)
Schedule: Monday - Thursday travel when required, with at least two weeks' notice in most cases

Position Overview

We are seeking a Technician to support SOCOM/CENTCOM operations in Fort Bragg. This is a 90% onsite role working with network teams as the first line of defense against network issues. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of IT infrastructure, network security, and troubleshooting methodologies. A TS/SCI clearance is required, and a polygraph is preferred.

Key Responsibilities
  • Serve as the first point of contact for IT support within the organization.
  • Work closely with network engineers to diagnose and resolve network-related issues.
  • Install, configure, and maintain software and hardware components of computer and network systems.
  • Troubleshoot and repair software, hardware, and network malfunctions.
  • Ensure security compliance by installing and upgrading antivirus and firewall software.
  • Maintain and update technical documentation regularly.
  • Support IT users with technical challenges related to computers and network devices.
  • Conduct testing and evaluation of new hardware/software before deployment.
  • Travel as needed to SOCOM/CENTCOM locations (e.g., Germany, Hawaii) with advanced notice.
Required Qualifications
  • Active TS/SCI clearance (polygraph preferred).
  • Minimum mid-level experience in IT/networking (not entry-level).
  • Experience working with secure environments (SecureView, classified networks).
  • Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
  • Experience with network security principles and IT infrastructure.
  • Familiarity with military/government IT environments preferred.
  • Must be located in the immediate Fort Bragg, NC area.
  • Travel will occur approximately once a month (Monday departure, return by Thursday).
