IT Technician (Level 1 to 3) Full-Time Hourly/Salary Position
We provide technology support for small and medium businesses in East Tennessee. This is a technician level position that is expected to provide quality solutions for our clients. We desire an experienced individual with a minimum of one (1) year of applicable work experience supporting business level IT operations. The IT Technical level and salary will be determined based on demonstrated experience, earned certifications, and overall demonstrated knowledge of IT support and systems. The successful candidate will report daily to the PDS office. The position is not a remote work position.

Purpose: Perform diversified technical and administrative tasks using independent judgment and action. Work with workstations, servers, network equipment, and other technological hardware to meet the requirements of our clients. Provide knowledge and skillset applicable to the position with a willingness for continued learning. Provide on-call support as required. Providing support to customers and the management team is key to the success of this position.
Areas of Expertise: - Windows desktop and laptop support - Latest Windows desktop OS and earlier required
- Business IT hardware peripheral support (printers and other devices) required
- Windows Office Application support required
- General IT business level support and troubleshooting of software and other tools required
- Desire Windows Server support, configuration, and administration - Latest Windows Server and earlier
- Desire Server virtualization support (Hyper-V and/or VMware)
- Desire Network support and configuration (firewall, switch, router, access point, Internet access)
- Desire Microsoft Office 365 Cloud Services and Applications desired (SharePoint, Intune, Identity, Exchange, Outlook, etc.)
Position Standards: - Experience supporting business level technology solutions for a minimum of one year required
- Desire Associate's or higher degree in a relevant discipline is preferred
- Relevant and current technology certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license, proof of insurance, and clean driving record required
- Background check and drug screen required upon request
Position Information: Salary is negotiable, according to individual qualifications. This position may be an exempt salary position based on qualification and salary. Current federal law requires identification and eligibility verification prior to employment. Only US citizens authorized to work in the United States may be employed. The position is based in Morristown, TN and is not a remote work position.
