The Position: Provide technical assistance for our clients' computer and VoIP users. Answer questions and resolve computer problems for clients in-person, via phone or utilizing remote tools. Prep, deliver and install end-user hardware per company and client standards. Provide assistance concerning the installation and use of hardware and software including Windows operating system, printing, common applications and endpoint security software, VoIP phones and switches and firewalls. Provide basic network administration and network configuration services. Proactively support remote monitoring, management, backup and patching services through daily review of system/network performance. Interface with clients' outside hardware/software vendors as needed. Maintain organized records of communications, problems, projects, remedial actions taken, and installation activities. Participate in self-directed and company-provided continuing education. Participate in internal and client meetings as required. Identify opportunities for improvement, internally and client-directed, and share with management. Perform general office duties as required. Implement, adhere to, and promote company policies and procedures.

While this position carries a significant remote workload, and work primarily from home is an option, this is NOT a remote position. Client on-site visits and office time are required components of this role.

The Person: You will have at least two years of directly related experience, preferably in a consulting role. Your technical competence will be confirmed by education, relevant industry certifications, experience and/or references. You must be self-motivated and self-directed, embrace difficult challenges and have a personal mission to never leave a technical issue unresolved. You must be an accomplished, efficient, and effective troubleshooter across a wide range of problems, using whatever resources are available to you. You look forward to every day being a little different - and you are willing to work the occasional night or weekend for client-impacting problems or projects. You are "hands-on" and client-facing, so you must be able to communicate to technical and non-technical clients in a friendly and professional way, at their level, in writing and verbally, in English. You can safely lift up to 50 pounds and move it a short distance.

You must be well-versed in all Microsoft desktop and server platforms, Office/Microsoft 365 applications and administration of same, Remote Desktop, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, PC hardware, structured cabling, and routers/firewalls (ideally Cisco and Watchguard).

Experience with the following is a plus: Hyper-V, VMWare, Azure, MAC OS, Backup and Disaster Recovery technologies, SAN, SD-WAN, VoIP, WordPress, sales, digital marketing, RMM and/or PSA tools.

You will have reliable transportation and a valid driver's license. You must be able to pass a background check and/or a drug test, pre-employment.

Compensation: This is a full-time (W2) position with base pay depending on experience, performance bonuses and benefits available.
