NTT Data seeks high-achieving team players who quickly adapt to new challenges and entrepreneurial ventures. We are looking for a IT Support Specialist to work onsite in Arlington, VA 3 days/week.This role involves configuring and setting up employee laptops, delivering technical support, and partnering with a global IT team to ensure seamless technical operations across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
- Configure and deploy laptops, user accounts, and permissions for employees, ensuring seamless setup.
- Deliver hands-on technical support and troubleshooting for hardware, software, and connectivity issues with a focus on onsite assistance.
- Collaborate with the global IT team to escalate and resolve complex technical challenges while adhering to global security standards.
- Track and maintain IT inventory with meticulous accuracy, including hardware assignments and timely equipment returns.
- Update, secure, and ensure compliance of all devices with organizational policies.
- Facilitate IT processes for employee onboarding and offboarding, including account provisioning and data recovery.
- Wipe and reassign returned laptops following proper data sanitization protocols.
- Manage user access within systems such as Active Directory, Microsoft 365, and other enterprise applications.
- Coordinate secure shipment of company equipment through FedEx.
- Uphold exceptional customer service standards in a fast-paced environment while maintaining professionalism and technical expertise.
Qualifications:
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in IT support or a helpdesk role.
- Proficiency with Windows and Mac operating systems, Microsoft 365, and standard IT tools.
- Experience with hardware setup, device imaging, and management.
- Working knowledge of Active Directory and basic network troubleshooting.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish (preferred).
- Ability to travel locally (e.g., to FedEx) for secure equipment shipping.
- Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
- Proven ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with remote and global teams.
Schedule:
- Part-time: 3 days per week (onsite in Arlington, VA)
- Flexible scheduling available within standard business hours
