Information Technology Specialist

We are seeking a Information Technology Specialist to support an upcoming project working out of our Reston, VA office.

The Information Technology Specialist ensures that contract personnel have the appropriate network connectivity, computer hardware, computer software, and other information technology requirements needed to accomplish tasks and deliverables. Responsible for installing, testing, and maintaining hardware and software on systems, performing system upgrades and configuration of communication systems. Provide the IT technical systems and continuous operations and maintenance support required to support the mission.

Shall have a minimum of two (2) years of IT customer service work experience with excellent performance and completion of recent formal training in a workplace, and at least an Associate's degree in one of the following fields or in a related field (Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Information Science & Technology Management Information Systems) or a similar degree from a technical trade school.

Must have experience providing IT systems operations and maintenance support. Experience supporting installation, testing, and maintenance of hardware and software systems. Experience in ensuring that contract personnel have the appropriate network connectivity, computer hardware, computer software, and other information technology requirements needed to accomplish tasks and deliverables. Experience in installing, testing, and maintaining hardware and software on systems, performing system upgrades and configuration of communication systems. Experience providing the IT technical systems and continuous operations and maintenance support required to support the mission. Proficiency with Microsoft Teams, Excel, and Word. Excellent written and oral communication skills, particularly concerning the ability to engage collaboratively and effectively in a virtual environment. Strong time and task management skills. Experience supporting data engineering requirements and systems within the IC.
