Job Summary: Provides technical support, maintains hardware and software systems, and ensures the smooth operation of the Company's IT infrastructure.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities: - Provides technical support to end-users, including troubleshooting hardware and software issues, resolving technical problems, and assisting with IT-related inquiries.
- Installs, configures, and maintains desktops, laptops, printers, servers, network devices, and other IT equipment. Performs hardware upgrades, repairs, and replacements as needed.
- Installs, configures, and updates software applications, operating systems, and utilities. Monitors software licenses and ensures compliance with licensing agreements.
- Configures and maintains network infrastructure, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points. Monitors network performance, troubleshoots connectivity issues, and implements network security measures.
- Implements and maintains data backup and recovery solutions to protect against data loss and ensures business continuity. Tests backup systems regularly and performs data restoration as needed.
- Implements and enforces IT security policies, procedures, and best practices to protect against cybersecurity threats and vulnerabilities. Monitors security systems, conducts security audits, and responds to security incidents.
- Provides training and guidance to end-users on IT-related topics, including software usage, cybersecurity best practices, and IT policies. Develops and maintains IT documentation, including user guides, technical manuals, and knowledge-based articles.
- Manages relationships with IT vendors and service providers, including procurement, contract negotiations, and vendor performance evaluations. Coordinates with vendors to resolve technical issues and ensures service-level agreements are met.
- Assists with planning, implementing, and managing IT projects, such as system upgrades, migrations, and deployments. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure project objectives are achieved on time and within budget.
- Tracks and manages IT assets, including hardware, software licenses, and peripherals. Maintains accurate inventory records, conducts asset audits, and optimizes asset utilization.
Job Qualifications: - Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science or a related field required.
- 3+ years of experience in IT support, administration or a related role required.
- Strong technical skills across a variety of IT disciplines, including hardware, software, networking, and cybersecurity preferred.
- Certifications such as CompTIA A+, Network+, Security+, Microsoft Certified Professional (MCP), or Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA) preferred.
- Knowledge of ITIL (Information Technology Infrastructure Library) principles and practices preferred.
