CEM Corporation (Matthews, NC) is seeking a highly motivated and skilled Information Technology Specialist to provide end-user support, system administration, and technical consulting across a wide range of Microsoft and network technologies. This role is ideal for a natural problem-solver who thrives in any environment and is passionate about delivering high-quality IT services.
Key Responsibilities:
- Deliver IT support services and administration of Microsoft-related technologies, including Office 365, Hyper-V, Windows Server, Active Directory, Teams, Antivirus, and Cisco VoIP.
- Provide technical support at the network level, including LAN/WAN connectivity, VPN, and network security.
- Support and troubleshooting line-of-business applications across various client environments.
- Assist with installation and configuration of computer hardware including monitors, docking stations, peripherals, and phones.
- Maintain and update technical documentation, processes, and procedures.
- Offer consulting services including system reviews and recommendations for improvements.
- Provide support for printing systems and general hardware/software troubleshooting.
- Communicate with vendors to resolve service and equipment issues.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related fields, or an associate degree with 2+ years of relevant experience
- Professional IT certifications such as A+, Cisco CCNA, Microsoft MCP, MCSA, or MCSE are preferred.
- Experience with Cisco VoIP phone systems and switch administration
- Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations (D365 F&O), and Power BI
- ShareFile Administration Experience
- Proficiency with Microsoft 365 (O365), Teams, Sophos Security Suite, Windows 10/11, Windows Server, and Mac OS.
- Experience with ITSM platforms and service desk ticketing systems
- Knowledge of VOIP phones, network switches, and VPN setup/support
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to learn new technologies independently
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including active listening, customer service, and verbal/written communication
- Ability to work independently and prioritize multiple tasks in a dynamic environment
- Understanding of IT support tools and the delivery of key IT services
- Experience documenting technical procedures and sharing knowledge across teams
