A leading law firm is seeking an IT Professional to support and enhance its technology infrastructure. The ideal candidate is a solutions-oriented technician with experience in systems administration, cybersecurity, and cloud-based platforms.

Pay: $25-33.50/hr
Responsibilities:
- Systems Administration and Maintenance: Manage and maintain the firm's network infrastructure, servers (both physical and virtual), workstations, printers, and other IT equipment. Ensure optimal performance, reliability, and security.
- Cybersecurity Implementation and Monitoring: Implement and maintain security measures to protect the firm's data and systems from threats, including firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems, antivirus software, and data loss prevention tools. Monitor systems for security breaches and respond to incidents.
- Data Backup and Recovery: Develop, implement, and test data backup and disaster recovery plans to ensure business continuity.
- User Support and Training: Provide timely and effective technical support to all firm personnel, addressing hardware, software, and network-related issues. Develop and deliver IT training to staff as needed.
- Salesforce Administration and Support: Utilize prior experience with Salesforce to support and potentially administer the firm's Salesforce instance (if applicable). This may include user management, basic configuration, report generation, and troubleshooting.
- Cloud Services Management: Manage and maintain the firm's cloud-based services, ensuring security, accessibility, and cost-effectiveness.
- Vendor Management: Liaise with IT vendors for hardware, software, and support services, ensuring service level agreements are met.
- Documentation: Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT infrastructure, systems, configurations, and procedures.
- Technology Evaluation and Implementation: Research and evaluate new technologies and solutions to improve the firm's efficiency, security, and capabilities. Participate in the planning and implementation of new IT projects.
- Compliance and Security Audits: Assist with internal and external IT audits, ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and best practices.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA Security+, Network+, Microsoft Certified Professional) are a plus
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support and systems administration, preferably within a professional services environment (law firm experience a plus)
- Demonstrated experience working with the Salesforce platform, including basic administration, user support, and understanding of its security features
- Strong understanding of networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Solid knowledge of Windows Server and desktop operating systems
- Experience with cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Familiarity with various security tools and technologies
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (e.g., Microsoft Azure, AWS)
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and troubleshooting skills
- Strong communication, interpersonal, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and prioritize effectively in a fast-paced environment
