Under the direction of Information Technology Manager I (IT Mgr I) the Information Technology Specialist I (IT Spec I) will serve as an Information Security Auditor in the Department of Technology Office of Information Security (OIS), Audit Research. The IT Spec I will support the execution of information security program audits through activities involving the Statewide Information Security Oversight program. The IT Spec I is responsible for supporting timely execution of high-quality information security program audits of state agencies, to validate requisite information security controls are in place and are working as intended.

Telework
This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule within California based on departmental policy and operational needs. The telework policy is subject to change depending on business needs, and/or reporting to the work site may be required with minimal notification given.
