Duties Description Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
• Analysis, design, coding, unit testing and documentation using technologies including but not limited to HTML, JavaScript, C , ASP MV.NET, SQL, Oracle, PL/SQL
• Web Portal application support including Workers' Comp eQuote, eApplication, DocuSign, eCERTs, Monthly Bills, Account Summary, Estimated Periods, Payroll Reports and Direct Deposit Enrollments.Current projects that incumbents may be involved in include but are not limited to:
• Identity and Access Management support
• AI Chatbot implementation
• Custom application support and development
• Platform enhancements and redesign of

Minimum Qualifications
• Reachable on current Civil Service eligible list for this title; OR
• One year of permanent, competitive class service in a title eligible for transfer under Section 52.6 of the Civil Service Law; OR
• One year of permanent, competitive class service as an Information Technology Specialist 1 Programming or Information Technology Specialist 1; OR,
• Bachelor's or higher-level degree including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science; OR
• Bachelor's or higher-level degree in any field AND one year of experience in information technology; OR
• 60 semester credit hours including or supplemented by 15 semester credit hours in computer science AND one year of experience in information technology; OR
• Two years of experience in information technology.Note: Certain math and business courses, although taken as part of a computer science curriculum, are not counted towards the 15 semester credit hours.Preferred Qualifications:The candidate should have a basic understanding of Object-Oriented Programming, Software Development Life Cycle, Oracle, MVC, .Net Core, C .Net, REST APIs, XML, HTML, CSS, JavaScript, JQuery, JSON, Bootstrap, PL/SQL.Please be advised that the New York State Insurance Fund does not offer sponsorship for employment visas to employees or potential employees.
