About Us

Job Summary

Information Technology Services (ITS), located in Athens, Georgia, provides students with paid internship opportunities to develop professional skills, learn about the operations of the state's public higher education system, and earn valuable work experience.

This internship offers the opportunity to work with ITS to provide network, infrastructure, and software solutions to USG institutions supporting students, faculty, and staff throughout the state of Georgia. This intern position will be fully involved in normal technology operations including working with computing infrastructure, Database Administration, ERP Applications, Security, and PC support team members in resolving issues and assisting with projects.

Responsibilities

Work with Analysts in researching customer software issues.

Develop, create, maintain, and write/code new (or modifies existing) scripts, API integrations, or specialized utility programs.

Create and update well organized Excel spreadsheets for data input and easy information reference.

Assist in administering ERP application system support tickets.

Prepare and edit presentations and documentation for ITS initiatives, events, or deliverables.

Assist with miscellaneous projects that involve analysis and preparation of system/application data.

Required Qualifications Applicants must be enrolled in a University System of Georgia institution and completed two years of college prior to applying.

Students must be in good academic standing to be considered.
