Job Title: Senior Project Manager
Location: Sacramento, CA 95814. On-site
Duration: (3) years
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage all aspects of the ET2 project, ensuring deliverables are met within resource estimates.
- Coordinate with the CDFA ET2 Project Director, system integrator, and stakeholders to define work scope and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain project schedules, work breakdown structures, and project management plans.
- Track and report on project progress, conducting scheduled and ad-hoc communications.
- Identify and resolve project issues, conducting research and developing reports as needed.
- Manage and document risk and issue management processes, including mitigation plans.
- Develop and maintain a Stakeholder Management Plan, including a RACI Matrix.
- Conduct weekly and monthly project status meetings, providing agendas and meeting minutes.
- Coordinate and oversee testing activities, data migration, and organizational change management.
- Support the development and approval processes for Special Project Reports, Budget Change Proposals, and Financial Analysis Worksheets.
Mandatory Skills:
- A minimum of seven (7) years of broad, extensive and increasingly responsible experience applying project management principles, methods, techniques, and tools.
- A minimum of four (4) years of experience as a Senior Project Manager of one or more large or complex IT projects.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of broad and extensive project management experience managing IT programs or projects
- A minimum of seven (7) years of team building, knowledge transfer, and mentoring experience.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience leading and facilitating project meetings.
- A minimum of seven (7) years of experience in the following:
- Schedule management utilizing Microsoft Project
- Risk and issue management
- Stakeholder management
- Scope and change management
- Business process review and gap analysis
- A minimum of one (1) year of experience planning or managing a Salesforce SaaS implementation project.
- Baccalaureate-level degree from an accredited university. Additional qualifying experience may be substituted for the bachelor's degree on a year-for-year basis. Four (4) years of full-time equivalent experience can be substituted for a bachelor's degree. The substituted experience must be in addition to the required years of experience. Example: If the experience requirement is five (5) years, and the individual is substituting four (4) years of experience in lieu of a bachelor's degree, a total of nine (9) years of must be submitted to claim this qualification. - Current Project Management Professional (PMP) certification issued by the Project Management Institute (PMI).
- Current Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification issued by the Scrum Alliance.
