We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Telecommunications Project Manager to oversee the planning, execution, and delivery of telecommunications infrastructure projects. This role involves managing all phases of projects involving voice, data, and wireless communications systems, including expansion, upgrades, and integration of carrier services. A strong background in vendor coordination, budgeting, and regulatory compliance is essential.
Key Responsibilities:
- Plan, coordinate, and manage end-to-end telecommunications projects (e.g., wireless infrastructure, VoIP, fiber, cellular expansion).
- Evaluate feasibility, costs, and benefits of new telecom initiatives, including partnerships with third-party carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile).
- Lead efforts to assess and deploy services such as AT&T FirstNet, especially for public safety and first responder applications.
- Work closely with stakeholders including IT, operations, vendors, and engineering teams to define project scope and requirements.

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
- 5+ years of experience in telecom or IT project management.
- PMP, PRINCE2, or similar certification preferred.
- Strong knowledge of telecommunications systems, including cellular networks, VoIP, WAN/LAN, and radio systems.
- Familiarity with FirstNet, public safety communications, or government-funded telecom initiatives is a plus.
- Excellent organizational, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Experience working with cross-functional teams and third-party vendors.
Preferred Experience:
- Previous work on telecom projects in public safety or emergency response sectors.
- Knowledge of telecom network architecture and carrier-grade infrastructure.
- Familiarity with budgeting tools and project management software (e.g., MS Project, Smartsheet, or Jira).
