Overview:

Seeking an experienced Project Manager III to lead and manage high-priority, complex projects spanning multiple business units or functional areas. This role is responsible for project delivery from initiation through closure, covering scope, budget, schedule, stakeholder engagement, and risk management. Ideal for a results-driven project leader who thrives in a collaborative and innovative environment.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead cross-functional projects with broad impact.
  • Define project scope, goals, deliverables; create detailed project plans, forecasts, schedules, and budgets.
  • Engage stakeholders and team members to gather requirements using methods like brainstorming and focus groups.
  • Establish roles and responsibilities for the project team.
  • Communicate updates and set expectations with stakeholders at all levels.
  • Monitor progress, manage changes in scope, and address project variances.
  • Ensure timely task execution while managing risk, quality, communication, and resources.
  • Identify and mitigate project risks with approved strategies.
  • Track and report project performance using standard metrics and tools.
  • Foster a high-performing team environment through mentorship and motivation.
  • Ensure compliance with internal policies and industry regulations.
  • Support a diverse, equitable, and inclusive team culture.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Supervisory/Managerial Responsibilities:

  • Provides technical/professional direction within the project discipline.

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree and minimum of 4 years of proven project management experience
  • OR
  • A combination of 6 years of higher education and/or work experience, including at least 4 years of project management experience.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and project management tools (e.g., MS Project, Jira, Confluence).
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to ask questions and engage stakeholders confidently.
  • Ability to pass a background check.
  • No conflicts of interest or personal relationships with current employees.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Master of Fine Arts (MFA) or other advanced degree (a plus, but not required).
  • Experience in financial services or regulated industries.
  • Project Management certification (e.g., PMP, CAPM) is a plus.
