Job Title: IT Program Manager/Owner for ERP Deployment

Location: Athens, GA USA 3-4x a week on-site

Duration: Contract (6-12 months + extensions)

Rate: 55-70HR

Exact compensation may vary based on several factors, including skills, experience, and education.

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced and highly organized IT Program Leader to oversee the deployment of an ERP system at our Small Molecule API manufacturing site in Athens, GA. This 6-12 month project aims to replace the existing ERP system with a new, state-of-the-art, modern ERP. The successful candidate will serve as the primary liaison between the Site IT department, the deployment team, and site personnel, ensuring smooth communication, coordination, and implementation throughout the project lifecycle.

Qualifications:
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience in IT project management or coordination, with at least 3 years in ERP implementation in a manufacturing environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in ERP ecosystems, in particular SAP S4 HANA, data migration tools, and project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira).
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to identifying and resolving issues.
  • Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Certifications: PMP, ITIL, or relevant ERP certifications are a plus.
  • Agile: Proficiency in Agile with at least 5 years' experience as Scrum Master or Agile Leader.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with change management processes in a manufacturing setting.
  • Knowledge of manufacturing operations and processes.
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices related to ERP systems.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Primary Liaison: Act as the main point of contact between the IT department, deployment team, and Site Program Office.
  • Project Coordination: Coordinate project activities, including planning, scheduling, and resource allocation, to ensure timely and efficient implementation.
  • Stakeholder Communication: Maintain clear and consistent communication with all stakeholders, providing regular updates on project progress, issues, and resolutions.
  • Site System and Infrastructure Change Management: Infrastructure, configuration changes, testing, etc. for site systems integrated with TranSCend (e.g., ePES MLL PCs, label printers, barcode scanners, RFs, ePES OPC)
  • Site System and Infrastructure Inventory and Document Management: Update Technical SOP, WIs, JJTS device Inventory
  • Issue Management: Identify, track, and resolve project-related issues and risks, escalating to senior management, as necessary.
  • Data Migration: Assist with data migration activities, ensuring data integrity and accuracy during the transition from the old system to the new ERP.
  • Continuous Improvement: Provide feedback and recommendations for continuous improvement of the ERP system and related processes.
  • Assess: Create an inventory of existing legacy ERP system interfaces and connected devices (e.g., Lab instrumentation, Label printers, rf guns ).
  • Deliver: Ensure all appropriate remediations are carried out on time, on scope, on budget. For example, acquisition and installation of new QCL (Quality Control Lab) instrumentation because legacy instruments do not integrate or function as required with the new ERP.
  • Harmonize Transcend, Digital and IT technical requirements. This includes understanding the technical capabilities that are coming with Transcend and other Digital investments approved for BP '25. Adjust Integrated Roadmap if there are conflicts or gaps. For example, Transcend is bringing technical capabilities we had another technology delivering in BP '25, then we would evaluate which direction to go, with a bias towards Transcend.
  • Program Leadership: Participate in all Site Program Office meetings, contribute and advise the Office as appropriate and engage the ERP program ensuring clear understanding and alignment.
