Vaco is actively seeking an
Information Technology Manager to support our client's continued growth in Memphis.

Position Overview: The ideal candidate will offer recent team leadership, a previous development background, and a structured approach to managing diverse, distributed teams focused on complex, multi-disciplinary corporate initiatives.
The position will not only be responsible for maintaining established environment, but also instrumental in driving initiatives including application development, cloud migration, internationalization, and AI/ML product integration.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and mentor a blended technical team of approximately 20 professionals across three verticals.
- Simultaneously scope and oversee multiple cross-functional projects, ensuring deliverables and alignment with strategic goals.
- Effectively collaborate with business stakeholders, cross-functional teams, vendors, and client partners.
- Guide teams through Agile project management and software development best practices using tools such as Jira.
- Provide technical oversight and general assistance based on previous development experience, particularly in Java or related technologies.
- Participate in digital transformation initiatives including automation and migration from on-prem / hybrid environments to a cloud-first enterprise platform.
- Champion internationalization, globalization, and regionalization efforts across the enterprise including support for multi-language platforms.
- Possess strong communication and presentation skills with executive leadership and corporate stakeholders; previous experience in large corporate IT settings is essential.
