SUMMARY: The IT Manager will be responsible for overseeing the organization's IT infrastructure, ensuring the secure and efficient operation of all systems, and aligning technology initiatives with business objectives. This role requires a hands-on leader who can manage both strategy and day-to-day operations.


PRIMARY DUTIES:

Leadership & Strategy:

  • Develop and execute IT strategies aligned with company goals.
  • Lead, mentor, and manage any IT members, including the managed service provider
  • Collaborate with other departments to identify technology needs and deliver appropriate solutions.

Infrastructure & Operations:

  • Oversee the maintenance and optimization of all IT systems, networks, servers, and cloud platforms.
  • Ensure uptime, performance, and security of all technology systems.
  • Manage software licensing, hardware procurement, and vendor relationships.

Cybersecurity & Compliance:

  • Implement and enforce security policies, protocols, and disaster recovery plans.
  • Monitor and respond to security incidents and data breaches.
  • Ensure compliance with industry regulations (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOC 2).

Project Management:

  • Plan and manage IT projects, budgets, and timelines.
  • Evaluate new technologies and recommend solutions to improve efficiency.
  • Maintain documentation, procedures, and user training materials.

Support & Service Delivery:

  • Oversee the IT manage service provider and support services.
  • Establish SLAs and ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.
  • Analyze support metrics and implement process improvements.
  • Provides hands-on support to augment other resources, as needed.

KNOWLEDGE:

  • Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • 5+ years of experience in IT management or a similar leadership role.
  • Strong technical knowledge of systems, networks, hardware, and software.
  • Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), virtualization, and cybersecurity best practices.
  • Relevant certifications (e.g., CompTIA, CISSP, PMP, ITIL) are a plus.
