Overview IT Intern

Overview/Position Summary

IT Intern will be an entry level position where a current student will work with employees in the IT department to learn various skills and acquire different experiences.

Responsibilities:

The Intern will help with helpdesk duties and learn various computer techniques and skills.
  • Work with Fresh Service and configure workflows for IT
  • Learn Wrike and make blueprints for IT projects
  • Clean up data files for IT
  • Research tools and implement for IT
  • Audit SaaS subscriptions and remove terminated employees and charge proper GL to departments
  • Audit Cell phones and laptops for CA and WA, T-Mobile and Verizon
  • Learn Microsoft Power BI and Fabric
  • Get exposure to client requirements for Data Visualization
Qualifications:

Education/Experience

Current enrollment in a relevant Bachelor's degree program, preferably in Information Systems, Business Administration, Computer Science, or a related field.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities
  • Ability to use a computer
  • Proficient written and verbal communication skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and adapt to changing project requirements
  • Dedication and commitment to promote diversity, multiculturalism and inclusion in all work activities
  • Collaborate in diverse teams to foster productive outcomes
  • Learn Microsoft Power BI and Fabric
  • Get exposure to client requirements for Data Visualization
Physical Requirements
  • Seeing, hearing, color perception, clear speech
  • Complex reading and writing, basic math skills
Work Environment

Regularly works with others face to face, over Zoom, and through email. Generally works in an office environment and warehouse environment with moderate noise.
