As an Information Technology Intern , you will assist the Systems & Technology Department in supporting the Company's Information Technology function.

This is a Binghamton home office position.

Description of Duties & Responsibilities:

• Conduct trial runs and unit testing of programs and software applications to confirm desired output and verify instructions are documented properly.

• Assist with systems analysis and programming tasks to maintain and control use of computer systems software and determine means of increasing operating efficiency.

• Consult with management and technical personnel to clarify program intent, identify problems and suggest changes.

• Compile and write documentation of program development and subsequent revisions for review by management. Insert comments in coded instructions so others can understand the program.

• Research routine user problems. Refer more complex problems to supervisor or technical staff.

• Communicate with hardware and software end users to determine required course of action for problems encountered.

• Develop and test solutions for problems encountered.

• Work with end users to implement corrections and updates as needed.

• Other duties and responsibilities as needed or assigned by management.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proficiency in programming languages.

• Strong analytical skills.

• Excellent communications skills, both written and verbal.

• Ability to perform work accurately and thoroughly.

• Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Must be dependable and able to adhere to a work schedule.

Education Required: Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree program in Computer Science. Two years of completed college coursework required. Completion of three years of college coursework preferred.

Pay Range: $17.00 to $21.00 hourly

The starting pay rate for this role is based on a variety of relevant factors, including location, education, experience, and skills.
