  • Support laboratory departments by designing, maintaining, improving electronic workflows.
  • Work with department leaders to identify requirements and design workflows that benefit the departments.
  • Workflows design must be in accordance with the Quality system. Changes must meet or exceed the current traceability standards.
  • Design workflows through direct cooperation with process owners in the department to drive adoption and integration into routine activities.
  • Increase automation of routine activates where possible.
  • Lead coordination and spread adoption of improved data workflows across departments within Business Unit.
  • Coordinate the integration of new technology, including new instrumentation and/or software, into existing workflows.
  • Create and/or update calculations within eLIMS and/or BookMaster.
  • Understand and follow Quality System documents relevant to responsibilities, e.g., Quality Manual, SOPs, and Methods, with particular focus on documentation principles and validation of electronic forms.
  • Participate in Kaizens and Rapid Quality Improvement projects as needed.
  • Assist in the integration of new features or modules of eLIMS as they become available.
  • Perform verifications of electronic calculations within BookMaster and other electronic data management software programs to ensure compliance with corporate quality standards.
  • Ensure that proprietary methodologies are not disclosed to non-employees except as approved in writing by the Laboratory Manager or appointed designate.
  • Maintain a perpetual state of readiness and willingness to respond to the queries and needs of clients, staff, and co-workers.
  • Remain current on technical, industry, and business advancements and trends as suggested by supervisor.
  • Maintain cooperative working relationships with all company employees. Communicate orally and in writing to co-workers. This includes "intra" and "inter" departmental employees.
  • Promote the company image through the exercising of sound and ethical business practices as related to the public and our customers.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Post secondary education is preferred but not required.
  • Working knowledge of BookMaster and BookEditor is required.
  • Working knowledge of Eurofins systems such as eLIMS, ComLIMS, eJira, and D4 are a plus.
  • Technical knowledge of MS Office products include Excel and Visual Basic is required. Knowledge of SQL, Power BI, and Power Automate are a plus.
  • Strong interpersonal skills are as this role will interface with local resources and experts to understand processes and work cooperatively to implement solutions.
  • Strong problem-solver with "can-do" mentality, able to both pragmatically define solutions and capture and understand all relevant details when necessary.
