HarmonyTech Inc. is seeking a seasoned IT Program Manager to lead the end-to-end planning, execution, and delivery of complex, high-impact technology initiatives. In this pivotal role, the Program Manager will be responsible for defining program roadmaps, aligning cross-functional teams, managing resources, mitigating risks, and ensuring that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
The ideal candidate will demonstrate outstanding leadership and stakeholder management skills, with a strong ability to engage with clients, understand business needs, and translate them into actionable technology solutions. This position requires strategic thinking, a proactive approach to problem-solving, and the capability to drive continuous improvement across multiple concurrent projects, fostering collaboration and innovation across teams.
Position is in Washington D.C. and requires U.S. Citizenship or Green Card.
Responsibilities:
- Manage the full lifecycle of assigned programs and initiatives.
- Lead multidisciplinary technical and administrative teams.
- Develop project plans, manage budgets, monitor scope, and ensure adherence to timelines.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for internal teams and external stakeholders.
- Identify risks early and implement mitigation strategies.
- Provide clear and timely updates to leadership and stakeholders.
Qualifications:
- 7+ years of IT program/project management experience.
- Strong experience managing technical projects and diverse teams.
- Proficiency in project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, Hybrid).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and conflict resolution skills.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
Preferred Qualifications:
- PMP Certification or equivalent.
- Knowledge of Section 508 Compliance and IT accessibility standards.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
