We're working with a fast-growing IT and Cybersecurity Managed Services Provider that's known for delivering cutting-edge support to a wide range of clients. They're looking to add a Field Technician to their team-someone who thrives in dynamic environments, enjoys working directly with end users, and has a passion for solving technical problems on the fly.
This is a hands-on, client-facing role where you'll be on the front lines of support-helping clients manage and improve their IT infrastructure, troubleshoot advanced issues, and maintain cybersecurity best practices. When not on-site, you'll support help desk operations and contribute to broader IT projects.
What You'll Do:
- Serve as a trusted technical resource for multiple client environments across industries
- Manage and troubleshoot Microsoft 365 and Intune deployments
- Support and configure server infrastructure, LAN/WAN, backups, and patching
- Perform troubleshooting on Windows 10/11, hardware, and network issues
- Use tools like SentinelOne, ThreatLocker, N-able, DUO, and others to enhance client environments
- Conduct vulnerability scans, data recovery, and utilize open-source tools for IT centralization and security
- Collaborate with internal teams to meet SLAs and contribute to continuous improvements
- Occasionally work after-hours for critical patches, upgrades, or client needs
What We're Looking For:
- 3+ years of hands-on IT experience, preferably in an MSP or client-facing setting
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (CIS, IT, MIS, etc.)
- Strong working knowledge of Office 365, Intune, Active Directory, GPOs, MFA troubleshooting
- Experience supporting both desktops and servers, with a solid grasp of security and networking fundamentals
- Strong communication skills and comfort interacting with business owners and end users
- A proactive mindset with a willingness to learn and stay ahead of the curve
- Ability to adapt to a flexible schedule and handle occasional after-hours work
