As an Information Systems Specialist in the Navy, you will play a vital role in ensuring efficient communication and control systems within our operations. Your responsibilities will encompass a wide range of IT functions, including:
- Operating and maintaining global satellite telecommunications systems
- Serving as an administrator on mainframe computers and local/wide area networks
- Implementing micro-computer systems throughout the Fleet
- Contributing to the mission of the Information Dominance Corps, enhancing our understanding of adversaries and the battlespace during wartime
To qualify for this position:
- You must possess a high school diploma or equivalent
- You should be a U.S. citizen and eligible for a Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information security clearance
- A strong aptitude in mathematics, familiarity with modern computing devices, and an eye for detail are essential
