Description: The mission of the Information Systems Specialist II is to work with the Information Systems Director to develop and implement network technology, provide support for computer-related projects, and develop, maintain, and secure strategic network systems.
The applicant will be expected to:
- Provide ongoing hardware and software installation, upgrades, support, and training.
- Monitor network performance and respond to issues.
- Create and maintain documentation such as network maps, inventories, and configuration details.
- Maintain the security of the network by monitoring reports from security appliances or other sources to detect, react, and prevent security issues.
- Collaborate closely with technical teams and vendors to escalate complex or unresolved issues, ensuring prompt and appropriate escalation procedures are followed to expedite problem resolution and minimize user impact.
Requirements: - B.S. Degree with 2-5 years' experience.
- Azure, Microsoft 365, and Cisco Meraki experience preferred
- Network+, CCNA/CCNP certifications preferred
- Valid driver's license
