What You'll Do: As an
Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE), you'll be at the forefront of securing enterprise and mission systems. You will:
- Perform or review technical security assessments of complex computing environments
- Participate as a security engineering lead and representative on technical teams
- Design, develop, and integrate secure networking, computing, and enclave architectures
- Apply IA policy, risk frameworks, and best practices to build secure solutions
- Support the development and enforcement of trusted relationships among external systems
- Contribute to risk assessments, security planning, and mitigation strategies
- Support the development, review, and implementation of C&A/A&A documentation (RMF, DIACAP, NISCAP)
- Recommend system-level solutions to security requirements
- Interact with stakeholders, customers, and cross-functional technical teams
- Ensure compliance with NIST, NSA, and DoD policies, procedures, and frameworks

Job Requirements
What You Bring: - Active TS/SCI clearance with Full Scope Polygraph
- Fourteen (14) years of experience as an ISSE on programs of similar scope, type, and complexity
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Assurance, Information Security System Engineering, or related field; additional relevant experience may count in lieu of degree
- DoD 8570.01-M compliance at IASAE Level 2 (e.g., CISSP-ISSEP)
Desired Certifications & Expertise: - CAP - (Certified Authorization Professional)
- GSEC / GSLC - (GIAC certifications focused on security leadership and essentials)
- CASP+ - (CompTIA Advanced Security Practitioner)
- RMF knowledge & experience - Strong grasp of NIST 800-37, 800-53, and system lifecycle integration
- Familiarity with tools such as Nessus, STIG Viewer, SCAP Compliance Checker, Xacta, etc.
