Provide comprehensive system baseline reports to the Information Systems Security Officer (ISSO). Identifying and reporting any unapproved changes to the system baseline, ensuring that the organization's security standards are uncompromised.
  • Safeguarding the Organization's Digital Assets
  • Maintain and enhance the Security Tools to cyber defense strategies
  • Managing network security
  • Attention to details
  • Involved in leveraging Cloud Services for orchestrating containerized applications
  • Leads highly technical project teams through each phase of System Engineering Lifecycle to deliver capabilities in accordance with program/project provided functional requirements
  • Defines, maintains, and enforces application security best practices. Identifies opportunities for process improvements and leads efforts implement
  • Adapt to new security challenges and staying knowledgeable with the latest security tools and practices
Minimum Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or other Engineering or Technical discipline or equivalent relevant 12+ years of relevant experience in systems security, cybersecurity, or related
  • TS/SCI clearance is required
  • Security+ or other DoD 8180 compliant certification
Other Job Specific Skills
  • Experience in System Security and proactive approaches to threat detection and resolution
  • Knowledge or experience in Managing Security with cloud-based and containerized environment
  • Adaptable to new security challenges
  • Understanding and experience with:
    • ePolicy Orchestrator / HBSS
    • Nessus / ACAS
    • Splunk
    • Sentrus
    • Azure Cloud Services
    • Kubernetes / Containers
    • CI / CD pipelines

Compensation Ranges

Compensation ranges for ASM Research positions vary depending on multiple factors; including but not limited to, location, skill set, level of education, certifications, client requirements, contract-specific affordability, government clearance and investigation level, and years of experience. The compensation displayed for this role is a general guideline based on these factors and is unique to each role. Monetary compensation is one component of ASM's overall compensation and benefits package for employees.
