Join our team as an Information Systems & Compliance Specialist and help improve operations through audits of IT systems, data security, and compliance with regulatory standards. We're looking for a detail-oriented, tech-savvy professional who wants to make a difference.


Location: Phoenix, Arizona or Tucson, Arizona

Type: Full-Time or Part-Time Travel: Up to 25%


What You'll Do:

  • Audit IT systems for logical and physical access controls, contingency planning, system security and change management protocols.
  • Use structured audit programs and risk questionnaires to test and document controls.
  • Deliver clear, timely workpapers and recommendations.
  • Support and train audit staff on technical IT matters.
  • Perform audit procedures in other areas of compliance and/or financial statement audits, as needed.
  • Travel (up to 25%) to perform audits across Arizona.

What You'll Need:

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Accounting, or a related field emphasizing analytical skills.
  • Strong critical thinking, research, and communication skills.
  • Time management and multitasking proficiency.
  • Team player who values public service.
  • Valid Arizona driver's license.
  • Familiarity of NIST or COBIT frameworks.

Preferred, but not required:

  • Experience with industry standards and frameworks (e.g., NIST, COBIT).
  • Prior experience in IT auditing, cybersecurity assessments, or risk management.
  • Experience with audit software and techniques.
