Clearance: TS/SCI Position Overview ISPA Technology is seeking an experienced
Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) to provide cybersecurity engineering support for Naval Information Warfare Systems Command (NAVWAR) and Program Executive Office Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence (PEO C4I) programs.
Key Responsibilities - Provide cybersecurity engineering and Risk Management Framework (RMF) support throughout the system lifecycle of NAVWAR and PEO C4I systems.
- Conduct security control selection, implementation, assessment, and continuous monitoring in accordance with DoD RMF guidelines.
- Develop and maintain cybersecurity documentation, including System Security Plans (SSPs), Security Assessment Reports (SARs), and Risk Assessment Reports (RARs).
- Operate within DISA's Enterprise Mission Assurance Support Service (eMASS) to manage authorization packages and track security artifacts.
- Utilize Assured Compliance Assessment Solution (ACAS) and other tools to identify vulnerabilities and evaluate compliance with DoD STIGs and IA controls.
- Collaborate with system architects, developers, and system owners to integrate security into architecture and design decisions.
- Provide technical input during engineering reviews, cybersecurity assessments, and audits to ensure effective risk mitigation strategies are in place.
- May be required to hold or obtain Full Security Control Assessor (SCA) credentials based on project needs.
Required Qualifications - Bachelor's degree in technical or managerial discipline (e.g., Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, etc.) OR High school diploma or equivalent with more than seven (7) years of directly relevant experience in lieu of a degree.
- 5+ years of practical experience in Cybersecurity, Engineering, Test & Evaluation (T&E), or Authorization & Accreditation (A&A) roles.
- Demonstrated experience with DISA eMASS and ACAS (Nessus/Tenable tools)
- Experience supporting Navy or DoD programs, particularly NAVWAR or PEO C4I, is highly desirable.
- Must meet DoD 8570.01-M IAT Level II or IAM Level I requirements (e.g., Security+, CISSP, CAP, or equivalent).
