ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Respond to Help Desk requests in a timely fashion and prioritize on level of importance. Must be able to troubleshoot and resolve advanced PC and network related issues.
2. Understand advanced design, installation and configuration of Windows XP and Windows 7, Windows 10.
3. Good understanding of Windows Servers and Active Directory.
4. Understanding intermediate network infrastructure concepts, both wired and wireless and understanding of cabling techniques in healthcare facility.
5. Understanding advanced design, installation and configuration of local and networked multi-function printer devices.
6. Must be able to install and troubleshoot all business applications with basic understanding of applications use and have strong skills to work with application vendors.
7. Have a basic understanding of primary telephone networks.
8. Ability to support computer networked bio-medical devices.
9. Familiarity with enterprise backup software and SQL backup procedures.
10. Ability to deal with highly confidential/sensitive information, keeping related confidential information in secure files.
11. Must be able to work on weekends, be available to take early morning and evening phone calls as needed.
12. Will need to be available (on-call) when Information Technology Coordinator is out of office.
13. Able to work well independently and have the ability to elicit confidence and build rapport.
Requirements
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Education A.S. degree in computer science or similar discipline. BA Information Technology, Computer Science or similar relevant field, preferred. Experience Three years' experience supporting computer networks in healthcare environment or educational background preferred. A+ required
