The Information Security Engineer Sr will be responsible for providing engineering design, analysis, implementation, care & feeding, roadmap development and support for the full suite of SailPoint products in use by the organization.

Responsibilities
  • Research, design, implement, and own the full lifecycle of all SailPoint solutions and products that comply with all applicable security policies and standards
  • Provides expert knowledge and act as a subject matter expert on key principles of Identity and Access Management and expertise with the SailPoint IdentityNow platform
  • Establish and maintain an IT multi-year strategy with a focus on continuous improvement for an enterprise identity and access management shared service solution
  • Analyzes and makes recommendations to improve network, system and application architectures
  • Works with IT and both internal and external business partners to ensure that security is factored in the evaluation, selection, installation and configuration process of hardware and software
  • Examines network, server, and application logs to determine trends and identify security incidents
  • Assists in the review and update of cyber security policies, architectures and standards
  • Assists in responding to audits, penetration tests, and vulnerability assessments
Qualifications

A successful candidate will have the expertise, and skills described below.
  • Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field and 6+ years in security engineering.
  • Practical depth of knowledge in technical design, operational functions and experience with SailPoint IdentityNow, to include integrations, development of business rules, access approval workflows, forms, rules, and certifications to manage, administer, and govern enterprise identities and access.
  • Experience implementing modern authentication solutions leveraging standard protocols and frameworks such as SAML, OAuth 2.0, OIDC
  • Experience creating custom reporting directly against the SailPoint database using the built-in reporting and compliance module
  • Technical breadth of knowledge overall security domains, to include network security (VPN, firewall, encryption, network monitoring, content filtering, wireless security), vulnerability security (scanning, static/dynamic code analysis, patching), endpoint protection (anti-malware/virus, intrusion detection/prevention), server security (web server, database), and cloud security (Azure, AWS).
  • Proficiency with at least at least one scripting language (e.g., Python, PowerShell) to perform API integrations between technology systems.
  • Strong documentation skills, especially with architecture diagrams and tool roadmap development.
Preferred
  • Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
  • Bulk of experience in the Identity & Access Management Security Domain
  • Already or willing to become SailPoint certified
