Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Informatica Integration Administrator to join our production support team. This role requires a dedicated and technically skilled professional who can manage and maintain Informatica environments, troubleshoot issues, and ensure high availability of data integration systems.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, configure, and support Informatica PowerCenter and other integration tools in production environments.
- Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot ETL workflows, sessions, and jobs to ensure performance and reliability.
- Perform regular environment maintenance, version upgrades, and performance tuning.
- Implement backup and recovery procedures and ensure data integrity across systems.
- Collaborate with development, QA, and infrastructure teams to deploy new integration solutions.
- Provide 24x7 support as needed and be flexible to work in rotational shifts, including weekends or holidays.
- Document issues, resolutions, and system configurations as part of operational best practices.
Requirements:
- 5 to 8 years of hands-on experience in Informatica administration and production support.
- Strong understanding of Informatica architecture, services, repositories, and metadata management.
- Experience with Unix/Linux systems, shell scripting, and managing file systems and permissions.
- Proficient in troubleshooting connectivity issues, performance bottlenecks, and failed jobs.
- Familiarity with database systems (Oracle, SQL Server, etc.) and data warehousing concepts.
- Exposure to ticketing tools like ServiceNow or Jira.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work with cross-functional global teams.
Nice to Have:
- Experience with Informatica Cloud, IICS, or other cloud-based integration platforms.
- Knowledge of DevOps tools and CI/CD pipelines in data integration environments.
