Job Description:
We need to supplement our engineering team so we can complete a data center project on schedule as well as fulfill our day-to-day operational support tasks. We need a self-motivated individual contributor who can bring FireEye NX appliances and Symantec DLP detection servers into service in a manner consistent with company requirements. The individual will be responsible for assembling all technical requirements, creating detailed task lists, creating technical service requests, validating requests are complete and accurate, and providing artifacts demonstrating completeness. The individual will provide regular detailed status reports and updates to the direct leader, project manager, senior engineer, and engineering teammates.

Skills Requirements:- Advanced hands-on experience reading, interpreting, creating, and editing technical network and system design and operational procedure documents.
- Advanced hands-on experience installing, configuring, upgrading, backing up, and restoring FireEye Network Security (NX) appliances.
- Experience troubleshooting and resolving network connectivity issues.
- Experience actively participating in engineering design and project management meetings to ensure requirements are defined, fulfilled, documented, and accurately reported.
- Experience installing and configuring Symantec DLP detection applications on Windows OS servers.
Preferred:
- Experience with ITSM solutions like ServiceNow.
- Experience writing queries in Sumo Logic to identify and resolve technical issues in logs.
- Experience integrating FireEye security alert and audit logs into a SIEM and centralized log archive.
