As an Information Security Analyst I,you will be responsible for a broad range of tasks, including the daily management of information security tools and devices, project implementation of security initiatives, and significant responsibilities for the security administration of a wide variety of IT systems. Under direct supervision, plans, analyzes, designs, implements, tests, and maintains security systems and equipment. Assists in the implementation, analysis and testing, maintenance and upgrades, design, and debugging of security controls, and related projects. Assist in the auditing and monitoring of system logs, SIEM tools and network traffic for unusual or suspicious activities. Interprets such activity and makes recommendations for resolution. Assists with in-depth network security analysis and preliminary incident response, event analysis and threat intelligence. Assists with risk and vulnerability assessments, followed by appropriate remedial action, this to mitigate risk and ensure that systems are protected from known and potential threats and are free from known vulnerabilities. Contributes to IT risk identification, classification, and response processes. Serves as a resource for technical security: solutions, controls, and architecture. Researches and stays up to date on current security threats and vulnerabilities to relevant information systems. Assists with the coordination of information security activities and collaborates with others to ensure that information systems are implemented and operating in accordance with requirements and regulations.

EXPERIENCE: - Minimum one (1) year information Security related work experience required.
- Requires in-depth experience in one or more information security domains, experience administering security technologies and/or programs, working knowledge of regulatory requirements and security best practices and a working knowledge of vulnerability assessment tools.
- Prior Information Security experience in Healthcare Organizations preferred.
EDUCATION/LICENSES/CERTIFICATIONS: - College Degree - 4 year in Computer Science, Information Systems or Information Security OR equivalent experience, four (4) years equivalent work experience in lieu of 4-year degree required.
- Industry Certification - Technical Security Certification such as Security+, CHE, GSEC preferred.
- Industry Certification - Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) preferred.
