Infectious Disease Physician

Blanchard Valley Hospital is seeking a dedicated Infectious Disease Physician to join our award-winning team. Serve patients in Northwest Ohio with a balanced 70% inpatient and 30% outpatient schedule, all while enjoying strong leadership support, professional development opportunities, and a great quality of life.

Job Description:
•  100% focus on Infectious Disease for adult patients.
•  Blend of inpatient (70%) and outpatient (30%) care.
•  Work in a hospital setting with diverse and complex patient cases.
•  Provide travel consultations, immunizations, and immigration physicals.
•  Serve a wide range of patients, with options for outpatient IV antibiotics at home, in an infusion center, or nursing home.
•  Participate in a weekly onsite CME program and additional CME/grand rounds opportunities via Mayo Clinic Care Network.
•  Option to teach medical students and advanced practice trainees.
•  Collaborate with a full complement of medical and surgical specialties, including interventional radiology.
•  Serve in a supportive and collaborative team environment.
•   Not open to visa candidates
•   Not accepting Locums providers Compensation and Benefits:

•  TRULY Board Eligible (within 5 years of eligibility with plans to test) or Board Certified in Infectious Diseases
•  OH license (or willing to obtain)
