Infection Prevention Manager - Onsite McKinney


Innova Solutions is hiring for an Infection Prevention Manager who will be responsible for developing, implementing, managing, and evaluating a comprehensive infection control program within the facility. This role operates under the guidance of the infection prevention and control medical director and a multidisciplinary committee, ensuring adherence to best practices in infection prevention.




  • This is a direct hire, onsite role in the McKinney, TX area
  • Candidates must be willing/able to work on W2 employment, NO C2C or 1099 contractors can be considered
  • Minimum of a Bachelor's degree is required
  • Experience: At least two years of relevant experience IS required
  • Certification: Certified in Infection Control (CIC-CBIC) is required
  • $97,000-168,000K/year total comp package expected for year one, including available sign on bonus and potential relocation package



Primary Responsibilities

  • Leads and supervises assigned staff, overseeing hiring, performance evaluations, training, work assignments, and problem resolution.
  • Establishes and administers infection prevention goals, policies, and procedures to maintain a safe healthcare environment.
  • Drives key infection prevention initiatives, applying epidemiological principles and statistical methods to mitigate the spread of infections.
  • Identifies, implements, and manages evidence-based strategies to address complex infection prevention challenges, risks, and trends.
  • Develops an annual surveillance plan tailored to the population served and services provided, continuously evaluating and refining it as needed.
  • Ensures compliance with national regulatory bodies, including the Joint Commission, CDC, OSHA, FDA, and HHS.
  • Provides expert consultation to providers, staff, and clinicians on managing patients with communicable diseases, ensuring appropriate isolation procedures.
  • Facilitates continuous quality improvement initiatives, fostering a multidisciplinary approach to infection prevention and control.
  • Compiles and analyzes surveillance data, reporting findings to key committees, hospital personnel, and local health authorities.
  • Designs and delivers educational programs to train employees on infection prevention techniques, regulatory compliance, and safe healthcare practices.
  • Manages departmental budgeting, monitors expenditures, and recommends new infection prevention products.
  • Performs additional duties as required, ensuring professionalism, competence, and courtesy in all responsibilities.

  • Adept at supervising, training, and motivating employees.


PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:
