Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teacher Purpose:

To cooperate in providing a warm and nurturing, quality early childhood environment in which each child can grow physically, emotionally, intellectually and socially.

Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teacher Requirements:
  • Preferred CDA, Associates or BA in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Elementary Education with a ZS, or closely related field. Completed degree not required. Training provided along with scholarship opportunities.
  • Experience working in a group care setting
  • Immunization requirements: MMR, Tdap, Hep B, Varicella, Annual influenza and Covid-19 plus booster

Infant, Toddler and Preschool Teacher Responsibilities:

Teachers work on a team to support children and families through:

Requirements

  • A Bachelors or Associates degree in Early Childhood Education or related field is preferred.
  • Personnel File is up to date
  • CPR/First Aid
  • Current TB Test
  • Current Physical
  • Adheres to attendance policies as outlined in the staff handbook.
  • Ability to relate joyfully and sensitively to children, co-workers and families
