Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician - Day Shift Compensation
- Pay rate: $21.50 per hour
- $500 sign-on bonus paid out $100 per month until fully earned or until the employee transitions to permanent status.
- Benefits available to full-time employees after 90 days
- 401(k) with company match available after 1 year of service

Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot and repair machine breakdowns, speed of operation, and waste issues
- Set up, operate, optimize, changeover, and maintain production equipment
- Use feeler gauges and tools to measure tolerances, torque, and clearances
- Work with cams, cam-followers, rod-ends, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gear-boxes, vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, and ball valves
- Maintain equipment logs with clear, legible handwriting
- Perform preventative maintenance as required
- Maintain production quality and quantity standards
- Monitor safety guards, replenish inventories, and ensure smooth machine operation
- Support upstream/downstream operations and perform rework as needed
- Maintain a neat, orderly, and safe work environment
Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician Top 5 REQUIRED Skills
- Mechanical troubleshooting and hands-on experience
- Knowledge of feeler gauges and tools for measuring tolerances, torque, and clearances
- Familiarity with cams, cam-followers, rod-ends, bushings, chain drives, conveyors, gear-boxes, vacuum systems, pneumatic systems, ball valves, and basic troubleshooting of these systems
- Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, push and pull up to 100 pounds
- Clear and legible handwriting for maintaining equipment logs
Industrial Mechanical Maintenance Technician Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED
- Eye exam required upon hire; must have 20/30 vision with or without corrective lenses and/or pass a color vision exam
- Attendance is mandatory for the first 90 days
- Mechanical hands-on background (car engines, boat engines, HVAC, low voltage electronics, sensors, machinist experience preferred)
