Key Responsibilities: Perform scheduled preventative maintenance on die casting, CNC, and support equipment.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical issues with production machinery.
Repair and maintain equipment such as die casting machines, trim presses, CNCs, conveyors, and cooling systems.
Install new equipment and modify existing systems to meet production needs.
Maintain detailed service logs and documentation of parts usage.
Ensure safe, efficient operation of equipment; promptly report safety concerns.
Collaborate with operators and supervisors to minimize downtime and improve machine performance.
Follow safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout and PPE requirements.
Keep work area clean and support continuous improvement efforts.
Qualifications: High school diploma or GED required; trade school or technical certification preferred.
2-3 years of industrial maintenance experience, preferably in metal casting or machining.
Strong mechanical aptitude and electrical troubleshooting skills.
Experience with hydraulic systems, pneumatic controls, and AC/DC motor repair.
Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals.
Welding and basic fabrication skills preferred.
Familiarity with CNC and PLC systems is a plus.
Able to work independently and collaboratively.
Willing to work overtime and be on call for emergency repairs.
Physical & Environmental Requirements: Regularly required to stand, walk, bend, and lift up to 50 lbs.
Exposure to heat, noise, dust, and varying temperatures typical in a foundry/machining environment.
Must be able to climb ladders, work at heights, and operate forklifts or scissor lifts (training provided).
