A well-established leader in Wisconsin's food manufacturing industry is now hiring dedicated Maintenance Technician on night shift-join a company that's a true local staple and be part of something big.
Schedule: 12-hour shifts, 5pm-5am, 5 on and 5 off, starting wage is $28.00 - $38.00 per hour depending on experience plus a great benefits package.

The Maintenance Technician performs a variety highly skilled duties and responsibilities involved in the maintenance, repair, service and installation of equipment, machinery and related facilities.

Maintenance Technician Essential Duties and Responsibilities

• Maintenance and repairs of complex mechanical systems and equipment utilizing skills in electromechanical repair, pipefitting and plumbing.

• Troubleshoots and isolates highly complex mechanical problems; implements corrective actions, as appropriate. Performs complex electrical and mechanical repairs on a variety of systems and sub-systems in plant.

• Reads and interprets complex plans, diagrams and specifications.

• Provides estimates of time and material required; requisitions, tools and supplies in accordance with established procedures. Prepares and maintains documentation and reports, as required.

• Performs and leads preventative maintenance duties such as cleaning, oiling, and lubricating equipment as assigned.

• Maintains a safe work environment through job planning and identification and correction of hazards and adherence to plant safety rules and procedures.

• Other duties as assigned or may be necessary.

Maintenance Technician Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

• Possesses comprehensive technical knowledge across various systems/trades HVAC, electrical, mechanical, plumbing

• Strong problem-solving skills

• Strong technical aptitude

• Organization skills and attentiveness to detail

• Interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to work effectively with a range of individuals, teams, managers, supervisors

• Demonstrates ability to read and understand mechanical drawings, piping and instrumentation diagrams, equipment assembly drawings, technical manuals, blueprints and schematics

Maintenance Technician Education & Experience:

• High School Diploma or GED with 2-3 years of related experience.
