One of my best clients, a strong stable global manufacturer in your area, is looking for a Maintenance Technician with solid electrical skills.

About 50 people in the operation locally so you'll know everyones name. They are the real deal. You wont have to carry anothers weight.

The Maintenance Technician will be asked to maintain the Manufacturing facility by utilizing their experience with Electrical, Mechanical, Plumbing, Hydraulics, Pneumatics, and PLC. This includes preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, and machinery installation relating to plastics/extrusion processing equipment, physical structures, and mechanical and electrical systems. Automation experience in a production environment. Allen Bradley, Siemens, Studio 5000/RSLogix 5000,

Works one weekend and then a long weekend off next so 2,2,3.

12 hour shifts so 36 hours one week and 48 the next week. 7a to 7p and 7p to 7a shifts available.


Maintenance Technician Qualifications:


  • 5 years' experience as a Maintenance Technician or similar role, strong electrical skillset required.
  • Must have the ability to work independently.
  • Must have excellent troubleshooting skills with the ability to diagnose problems and make decisions as to the appropriate corrective action.
  • Mechanical comprehension as well as strong understanding of pneumatics, hydraulics, electrical applications, and blueprints.
  • Must be able to read and interpret prints and diagrams.
  • A team player and is able to interact with various department personnel to ensure work is completed thoroughly and efficiently.
  • Relevant degrees and certifications are desired.
