ITS has a client in the Franklin, OH area seeking an Industrial Maintenance Mechanic. This is a contract to direct position, with great company.
Maintenance Mechanic Primary Responsibilities
- Responsible for installing, repairing, adjusting, modifying, troubleshooting and performing preventative maintenance on all types of plant equipment and facility.
- Responsible for following all plant and safety rules including all safety Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) requirements.
- Inspect, dismantle, repair, replace, install, clean and assemble as necessary to maintain equipment/buildings as necessary.
- Able to communicate information to maintenance supervision and engineering to assist in analyzing equipment or for the purpose of making equipment modifications.
- Perform pipe installations and repairs in various pipelines.
- Interpret blue prints for equipment information and installation.
- Works with maintenance supervisor to insure a sufficient level of back up spares for all mechanical equipment.
- Utilize torches, welders and burning equipment.
- Maintains daily shift inspection and repair logs for review by supervision, and other plant personnel.
- Minimal travel requirements as needed for training, etc., as determined by Supervision.
- Any and all other responsibilities as assigned by Supervision
Experience
- Minimum of 3 years' experience in a Manufacturing Environment, in the Maintenance department
Education, Licenses & Certifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Take and pass Bennett Mechanical Comprehension Test
