This hands-on role is responsible for the installation, repair, and maintenance of electrical and electronic systems, with a strong emphasis on safety, troubleshooting, and system optimization. The position is based on weekend nights (Friday through Sunday, 4 PM to 4 AM) and is ideal for a reliable, team-oriented professional with strong electrical and mechanical skills. Key Responsibilities: Design and test minor electrical circuits, including PLC and electronic control systems Troubleshoot and repair hydraulic and pneumatic circuits Install electrical and electronic controls on machinery and equipment using schematics and blueprints Dismantle and replace defective components, including brushes and armatures Monitor and test installed systems for proper functionality and safety hazards Perform mechanical repairs as needed Interpret technical diagrams and conduct layout, assembly, and installation of electrical systems Mount motors, lighting fixtures, and transformers; complete circuit connections Collaborate with team members and assist lower-level technicians as necessary Accurately document tasks using a computerized maintenance management system (CMMS) Required Qualifications: Associate degree in a technical field (required) 2 4 years of hands-on electrical maintenance experience in a manufacturing environment Proficient with reading and interpreting electrical schematics and blueprints Solid understanding of electrical power distribution and water systems Familiar with PLC systems and electronic troubleshooting tools Able to perform physical labor, including lifting at least 50 lbs, standing for extended periods, stooping, and bending Must pass a pre-employment physical, drug screening, and background check Competency in using CMMS systems to track work and parts inventory Preferred Skills and Attributes: Excellent troubleshooting and critical thinking skills Clear verbal and written communication Safety-first mindset and attention to detail Willingness to work overtime or assist across shifts if needed Work Schedule: Weekend Shift: Friday Sunday, 4 PM 4 AM This is an opportunity to join a stable, growth-oriented team in a well-established manufacturing facility.
