Key Responsibilities
- Inspect and test electro-mechanical equipment.
- Perform electrical tests using portable electronic equipment (e.g., Megger, Surge, HI-Pot)
- Conduct mechanical inspections on sleeve-bearing machines.
- Perform on-site tasks, including electrical testing, vibration analysis, and shaft alignments.
- Communicate findings clearly to customers in a technical manner.
- Create and submit reports detailing completed work.
- Represent HECO professionally while on-site, upholding our core values.
What We're Looking For
- 2+ years of experience in electric motor field service OR millwright experience
- Strong mechanical aptitude: experience with rotating equipment is a plus.
- Team player with solid communication skills
- Quick learner who thrives in a fast-paced environment
- Detail-oriented and able to write technical reports.
- Willingness to travel ( 40%), including overnight stays.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
Physical Requirements
- Lift, push, pull, and carry up to 50 lbs.
- Stand, stoop, kneel, and bend for extended periods.
- Work in various weather conditions and challenging environments
- Perform manual labor for 12+ hours per day when required.
