As Industrial Engineer-Stores, you will develop productivity improvements across Kohl's store network. You will provide analytical support, execute change initiatives that significantly impact the organization, and operate as the bridge between Technology, Finance, Field partners and process owners.
What You'll Do - Recommend productivity improvement opportunities by addressing all aspects of a process
- Lead capital projects and ensure projects are completed within the allocated budgets
- Build business case ROI analyses to support Kohl's Technology capital planning projects and store operating model efficiencies
- Support the stores organization through planning and analysis
- Support strategic planning and analysis through forecasting, capacity modeling and network modeling
- Recommend changes to standard operating procedures by analyzing key performance indicators
- Interpret key performance indicators and identify important trends
- Report, summarize and communicate findings and recommendations to key internal stakeholders
- Ensure end products are intuitive, seamless, simple and meet the financial goals of key business partners
- Maintain Kohl's store labor management program
- Maintain and update labor standards through monitoring of productivity and efficiency
- Refine labor management program through best methods and procedures, time and motion study, coaching and general program maintenance
- Additional tasks may be assigned
What Skills You Have Required - Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or equivalent experience
- 2-3 years experience
- Experience with statistical analysis, work measurement and process analysis
- Ability to multitask across multiple projects
- Demonstrated initiative and strong critical thinking skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Occasional travel, including overnight
Preferred - Retail store-related experience
- Process simulation experience
- Confident decision-making and leadership skills
