Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled Industrial Engineer to optimize manufacturing processes, enhance efficiency, and drive continuous improvement within our HVAC manufacturing facility. The ideal candidate will analyze workflows, implement lean manufacturing principles, and develop cost-effective strategies to improve productivity, quality, and safety while reducing waste.
Duties/Responsibilities:
Collaborated with engineering to ensure manufacturability and optimize production flow.
Supported factory capacity planning and scalability initiatives.
Developed KPIs to monitor and improve production efficiency.
Led problem-solving efforts for bottlenecks, quality issues, and workflow inefficiencies.
Improved HVAC manufacturing processes to boost efficiency and reduce waste.
Implemented lean principles (Six Sigma, Kaizen, 5S) to optimize operations.
Conducted time and motion studies and recommended process enhancements.
Used value stream mapping (VSM) to streamline material and workflow efficiency.
Assisted in automation integration and evaluation of new production technologies.
Ensured compliance with HVAC industry standards and maintained ISO requirements.
Required Skills/Abilities:
Strong understanding of lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, and continuous improvement methodologies.
Proficiency in CAD software (AutoCAD, SolidWorks), ERP systems, and data analysis tools (Excel, Minitab, Power BI).
Knowledge of HVAC product manufacturing processes, including sheet metal fabrication, assembly, and testing.
Familiarity with automation, robotics, and IoT in manufacturing is a plus.
Strong problem-solving, analytical, and project management skills.
Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple teams.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field.
2-5 years of experience in industrial engineering in HVAC or related manufacturing environments.
Experience with ERP/MES systems and data-driven manufacturing decision-making
