Key Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair equipment malfunctions using advanced testing tools and software.
- Maintain equipment logs documenting performance issues, repairs, calibrations, and test results.
- Set up and test industrial machinery to ensure proper functionality.
- Inspect equipment components for proper assembly and detect defects like loose connections or frayed wires.
- Install repaired equipment across various industrial or military settings.
- Analyze blueprints, schematics, and manuals to determine installation procedures.
- Work with equipment operators to identify issues and assess causes.
- Coordinate with team members during installation and maintenance activities.
- Develop or modify industrial electronic devices and circuits based on specifications.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 3 years in industrial electrical work, preferably in manufacturing or military environments.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Strong understanding of electrical codes and regulations.
- Proficient in reading blueprints and schematics.
- Demonstrated ability to troubleshoot complex electrical systems.
- Familiarity with PLC control systems and automation technologies
Preferred Qualifications
- Associates degree in Mechatronics, Electrical Technology, Instrumentation and Control Technology, Electrical Engineering Technology or equivalent.
- Certified Control Systems Technician (CCST)
- Hands-on experience with Allen-Bradley and Siemens PLC systems, including troubleshooting, programming, and integration in industrial environments.
